Aturan Penambahan S dan ES
Agar tidak salah, perhatikan aturan berikut:
Tambahkan -s:
- read → reads
- play → plays
- drink → drinks
Tambahkan -es jika kata kerja berakhiran:
- o → go → goes
- ch → watch → watches
- sh → wash → washes
- s → pass → passes
- x → fix → fixes
Jika berakhiran huruf y setelah konsonan:
- study → studies
- carry → carries

1. Untuk Kebiasaan (Habit)
Biasanya disertai kata keterangan waktu seperti:
every day, every week, always, usually, often, sometimes.

2. Untuk Fakta Umum
Contoh:

Kesimpulan penting:
Jika sudah menggunakan “does”, jangan tambahkan s pada kata kerja.
